FAQ

Question 1: Where are Soloking Guitars made?

Soloking Guitars are built and manufactured in China by one of the best and largest Guitar Factory Group with more than 20 years of experience.

We have our own manufacturing facilities in Huizhou and Anhui, and the 3rd will start production soon.

We invest on cutting edge tools and  machinery to achieve the precision in our instruments and we combine that with our team that consists of skilled people.

Question 2: What Kind of Wood Timbers do Soloking Guitars use?

All of the timbers that we use in manufacturing are sourced from quality wood suppliers.

We use different kind of woods, but mostly American Alder and Ash and for MS-1 and MT-1 and other bolt on models, with Okoume or Mahogany wood for certain Modern or Deluxe T models.

All of our Alder wood are imported from US.

For tops, We use Flame Maple and Quilt Maple and also 6mm Solid Flame top or KOA in some special models.

For Set Neck models, mostly we use Mahogany / African Mahogany and Russian Pine Wood for Thinline models with Natural finish.

Also, for neck materials we always use the best wood grain with choices from Canadian Hard Maple (plain or roasted) with quartersawn cut, One Piece Enginereed Micarta Rosewood, One Piece Wenge, and One Piece Flamed / Figured Maple.

Set Neck models are usually with Mahogany Neck.

We almost exclusively use Quartersawn Cut for the Maple Neck, with exception of Basic Series which is more affordable and comes with Plain Sawn Cut.

The Fretboard is mostly Rosewood or Ebony or Maple/Roasted Maple.
Some Special Models comes with Wenge Neck.
